📋 Description

• This is a REMOTE opportunity. Only candidates residing in DE, FL, IN, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, PA, and SC will be considered. • Top Gun Staffing Group LLC is excited to announce our partnership with a world-leading multi-material player in semi-finished plastic products. • We are currently looking for a talented Senior Accountant to join their dynamic accounting team. • In this role, the successful candidate will be instrumental in overseeing accounting operations, maintaining financial records accurately, and upholding financial integrity. • This position presents a distinctive chance to impact the company's financial well-being and aid in strategic decision-making processes. • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. • Implement new accounting principles and policies ensuring all accounting is in accordance with global requirements and IFRS/GAAP. • Oversee cycle counting and physical inventory processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. • Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals. • Oversee payroll accounting, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of payroll transactions. • Manage bank accounting, including reconciliations and cash flow management. • General ledger (GL) accounting, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. • Support internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and information. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information. • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff. • Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • 5-10% travel.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • CPA or CMA certification preferred • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.), Word, PowerPoint) • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong organizational and time management skills
