• About Plane: Plane is an incisive response to config-heavy, opinionated, and restrictive project management software. • In just two years, Plane’s grown to #1 in its category on GitHub and become a viable open-core alternative to Jira, Monday, Wrike, Asana, ClickUp, and Linear. • Our growth has come on the back of the product’s true flexibility without artificial limits, simple configurations that work out of the box, and thoughtfully packaged features that nurture our customers’ growth instead of punishing it. • This position is on the most collaborative team at Plane. • The Marketing team owns two key metrics—PLG revenue and PQLs for Sales. • Everything the team does is in the service of revenue, of which we own a significant chunk via product-led initiatives and experiments. • You’ll be the architect of our content strategy—from high-intent product content to revenue-driving assets, from branded content to content partnerships. • This is a hands-on role where execution matters as much as strategy. • You will translate our product growth drivers into relatable and compelling narratives that drive measurable conversions at every stage of the funnel. • You will fit well if you have skill sets and experiences outlined above.
• 5+ years’ experience in B2B SaaS content, preferably in PLG + PLS plays for productivity, collaboration, or work management products. • Proven track record of building content engines that directly impact content-driven conversions and revenue. • Deep understanding of product-led narratives. • Strong portfolio of product-first content, guides, and comparison pieces. • Exceptional ability to translate product capabilities into compelling use case and showcase stories. • Experience scaling Content teams. • Some understanding of open-core ecosystems.
