Description

• The future is bright for the Porch Group, and we’d love for you to be a part of it as our a Software Engineer. • You are critical to the team's success and delivery of the expanding suite of applications. The position is responsible for system analysis, development, testing, debugging, documenting, and installing portions of new systems and modifying existing systems. You will be part of a newly formed and expanding team in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or four years of equivalent work experience • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing production software • Understands and can speak to all aspects of the software development life cycle • Proven collaborator, with clear, open and honest communication • Extremely knowledgeable with following tools: • C#, ASP.NET (.NET Framework and .NET Core/Standard, MVC) • React • TypeScript (JavaScript) • Redis • Microsoft SQL Server • Adjust to new situations and escalate issues quickly for resolution • Proven experience working with US based business teams • Excellent written and communication skills in English language. • Ability to work within core US business hours / time zone expectations - Eastern Standard Time (EST) overlap • Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload
