• Performs data aggregation, analysis, and management reporting on sales results and trends. • Supports the needs of the business by providing financial and sales insights to the leaders of Individual Life, Variable Annuity, and Mutual Funds distribution. • Extracts and aggregates sales related data from various information systems to support periodic reporting and ad-hoc requests; determines appropriate methodology to prepare information for use by others. • Analyzes sales related data and identifies trends and drivers of results; interprets findings for the purpose of determining past performance and/or to project future results. • Clearly communicates findings/takeaways to leadership and may offer recommendations to those making economic or business decisions. • Supports the business’ insight needs by utilizing understanding of the business to proactively develop reports and models for forecasting, trending and results analysis. • Self-motivated individual who works with minimal instruction or guidance to perform moderately difficult assignments with diverse scope and complexity; requires originality, creativity, and problem solving with initiative and independent judgment required. • Works effectively with other departments/divisions to ensure business issues are resolved for the success of the company. • Responsible for adherence to the company's framework of internal controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent work experience. • Minimum of 5 years experience, with degree. • Advanced computer skills. • Familiar with industry (financial services, insurance, and/or investments) • Exposure to data aggregation methods and tools, and experience segmenting and analyzing data and trends. • Ability to effectively and concisely communicate to colleagues and management, both orally and in writing. • Self-directed individual with ability to execute on tasks with minimal supervision and an eye for continuous improvement. • Strong organizational, relational, and prioritization skills.
