• As a Senior Backend Engineer at Flowie, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems. • You will focus on product areas: banking, financing, ledger systems, payment rails, and card systems. • Your product knowledge will help shape our strategy and ensure we deliver innovative and high-quality solutions to our customers.
Requirements
• At least 6 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer, with a proven track record in building scalable and high-performance systems. • Proficiency in any major backend programming language, with a willingness to learn Scala. • Experience with JVM or functional programming languages is a plus. • Proficiency in one or multiple product topics: banking, financing, ledger, payment rails, card... • Deep understanding of API design, macroservices architecture, and server-side technologies. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
