📋 Description

• The Senior ServiceNow Developer is responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of the ServiceNow application. • Provide the technical expertise on the design and construction of new and existing modules as well as the use of appropriate development tools and data flows. • Will provide direction to lower-level developers and interact with technical leads, business analysts, solution architects and other development teams. • Conduct deep dive analysis of application issues across the full stack and recommend solutions. • Help with solution design efforts and impact analysis for varying sizes of critical applications and ensures standard operating procedures are being followed. • Ensure that disruption to applications is minimized through analysis, planning and testing of proposed software fixes and updates. • Provide SME knowledge, technical planning expertise in the areas of application design, software development, performance, testing, and infrastructure. • The Software Engineer III reports to the Manager of ServiceNow to deliver robust applications based on best practice software engineering that is well aligned with the SDLC process.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology/computer science or related field. • Master’s degree is a plus. • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certifications are preferred. • ITIL Foundations V3 certification required, ITIL 4 preferred. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Leads development activities with agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban). • Expert in formal software development methodologies. • Expert experience with highly integrated application systems/platforms, data flows, and business processes. • Proven ability to think analytically, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. • Proven ability to work on a Team and good interpersonal skills. • Self-starter and completes assignments with moderate supervision. • Broad experience with ServiceNow, in development or analyst role. • Proficient in developing, administering, and configuring all areas of ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM, including CMDB, Discovery, Hardware and Software Asset Management (SAM Pro). • Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting complex ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications and integrations. • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs. • Experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub. • Well-versed in infrastructure, networking, and security technologies understanding how they impact and compliment the ServiceNow environment. • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, and other relevant programming languages. • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. • Familiarity in designing and implementing workflows and automation within ServiceNow. • Deep understanding of ITSM processes and best practices. • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, application developer, etc. • Experience in developing applications for Hospitality Industry preferred. • Experience in business process improvement and systems convergence initiatives. • Experience working with offshore development teams.
