• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. • Minimum 3 years experience in Security Operations roles and 1 year experience in Detection Engineering role. • Experience building threat detection mechanisms in common log analysis platforms (eg. Splunk) • Experience using common programming languages to build automation. • Experience performing threat hunting. • Experience using security detection technologies and systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, EDR, and authentication systems. • Experience with cloud technologies including AWS and network protocols. • Strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively identify and resolve problems.
