Description

• Developing innovative platform services for the transportation domain at Trimble. • Building strong relationships within the team following best practices for collaboration. • Taking comprehensive responsibility for the service, overseeing its development, deployment, operations and maintenance. • Automating the manual workflows in all phases of the SDLC. • Converging and migrating existing data into new services. • Collaborating and engaging with consumers to understand the requirements and provide efficient solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field • 7+ years of experience developing backend services APIs, RESTful web services • Strong experience in developing services in Java, Spring, Spring boot using maven/gradle • Experience developing in event driven architecture • Experience developing cloud agnostic and cloud native services. • Strong design skills to design more generic services that are extensible. • Strong coding skills developing high quality reusable code and providing effective code reviews • Innovative mind-set and eager to learn and contribute using next gen technologies • Professional skills in communicating in English working with International teams. • Tech Skills Java, Python, Spring, Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions/Jenkins PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB/ElasticSearch Cloud: Azure or any cloud experience Kafka, or any message queue/event services. • Nice to have : Prior experience building platform services
