Description

• Responsible for the protection of the corporate data integrity through backup and replication technologies and software. • Installs, maintains, and supports software and hardware associated with data protection at the enterprise, regional and local level. • Assists to set the direction and implement standards among the implementation team. • Supports and provides technical expertise on all activities for enterprise backup, cyber vault technologies, immutable backups, retention, and restoration of data. • Implements backup and disaster recovery plans to protect data and ensure business continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and five (5) years of data protection system administration experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Cyber protection technologies, air gap, immutable backups and or advanced threat detection technology in respect to data integrity operational tasks. • Disaster Recovery planning, testing, and execution. • Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of data protection applications and object store technologies typically obtained through (5) years of experience. • Subject matter expert in data protection software, scripting tools, or hardware (immutable data protection technologies, cyber technologies. Such as, Data Domain, Avamar, Spectrum Protect, Virtual Technologies, NetApp Storage GRID, TKLM, Networker, etc.) • Knowledge of server platforms, storage area networking, firewalls, disk subsystems and network platforms, as normally obtained through work experience is desired. • Must possess knowledge of various operating system platforms. • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative shared leadership environment. • Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
