β’ Responsible for closing accounts for assigned book of business β’ Achieve revenue and profitability growth aligned to strategic goals β’ Identify, develop, and manage relationships at all levels within assigned and new accounts β’ Act as a liaison between the dealer and TrueCar β’ Understand the needs of the dealer and educate dealers on TrueCar products β’ Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as dealer performance, dealer operations, and dealer training teams β’ Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms and conditions with dealers β’ Support in dealer escalations with all involved functional areas to assure approval and success β’ Serve as a liaison between the dealer, dealer performance manager, and dealer implementation team β’ Learn about new products and features with the dealer training team β’ Report and record all sales activity notes within Salesforce β’ Serve as a change agent for continuous improvement β’ Support in the management of account receivables for assigned accounts β’ Demonstrate high level of attentiveness toward customers and contribute to a culture of high-quality service β’ Develop trusting relationships and open communication with all stakeholders including accepting feedback β’ Additional responsibilities as determined by business needs
β’ Proven success in retail sales in an automotive dealership environment β’ Experience in digital media advertising β’ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to listen for understanding, influence outcomes and negotiate with clients β’ Proven ability to identify, initiate, negotiate, and close deals β’ Proven track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding sales goals β’ Ability to formulate, implement and execute sales strategy, plans and tactics in a competitive environment β’ Experience with Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management tool utilization β’ Experience interfacing with client contacts at various levels and demonstrated ability to effectively present information including complex technical content and respond to dealer requirements / requests β’ Demonstrated understanding of client standards and requirements as they pertain to offered products, features and capabilities β’ Strong sales skills with ability to create tangible interest for new ideas and product opportunities with clients β’ Ability to communicate client requirements and methodologies to internal organization to ensure alignment β’ Demonstrated ability to represent the company within an assigned book of business β’ High integrity, self-starter, strong work ethic, with a high level of energy β’ Ability to utilize state of the art office software and to learn new software β’ Tech-savvy with ability to understand, interpret and present data using a consultative approach β’ Ability to grasp new concepts quickly with an open mind for change and a willingness to solve problems β’ Strong understanding of auto dealerships, both larger dealer groups and family-owned β’ Salesforce experience ideal but not required β’ Ability to travel domestically by airplane or car including overnight trips up to 75% of the time
