Description
• Overseeing daily activities of the accounting department • Working in the Unanet platform for financial management • Leading closing processes and preparing financial statements • Coordinating and leading the audit process • Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures • Assisting in budget preparation and financial planning • Managing payroll processing • Staying updated on industry trends and accounting regulations
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA highly preferred • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a senior role • In-depth experience with the Unanet platform • Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, federal accounting policies, and other accounting principles • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to lead and mentor a team • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
