📋 Description

• Work as a senior member of the IT Operations team • Develop automated capabilities to deliver capabilities more efficiently • Drive solutions to problems impacting mission critical systems and implement automation to prevent reoccurrence • Execute changes on production systems • Work in center of excellence for cloud usage and cloud development standards • Work closely with other development and operations team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into automated solutions • Maintain an accurate picture of existing server, storage, networking software/ hardware and virtual environments to support scaling against various project requirements • Ensure all usage of cloud environments meet governance standards and contribute to improving standards for security and operational efficiency • Other duties as assigned or required

🎯 Requirements

• Technical degree or work experience equivalent • Demonstrated expertise in designing, building, and managing Linux/Unix-based and Windows systems • Certification in Development, Architecture, and/or DevOps or equivalent work experience (AWS, GCP, Nutanix, etc.) • Deep understanding of Core Cloud Competencies (Virtualization, DNS, Access Control, Environment Management, etc.) • Automation scripting expertise in at least one language (BASH, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, etc.) • Experience documenting implementations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio for presentations in PowerPoint or similar tools • Work experience demonstrating written, verbal and presentation communication skills with ability to communicate complex information • Experience developing green-field technology through a mixture of experimentation and guided learning
