• create documentation for Twilio products. • create highly technical documentation that is clear, correct, comprehensive, and easy to use. • work collaboratively with other Developer Educators to create, maintain, and improve product documentation. • write tutorials and quickstarts that contain sample code. • review content plans and draft documentation from other Developer Educators. • contribute to conversations with the docs platform team. • collaborate on docs improvement projects. • participate in Agile processes. • learn about Twilio’s products.

Requirements

• Experience planning, researching, writing, and maintaining product documentation. • Experience documenting APIs and using tools like Postman. • Experience working with a docs-as-code platform and workflow. • Excellent skills in grammar, editing, and experience with minimalist documentation design. • Familiarity with one or more coding languages. • Deep empathy for the developer experience and an ability to use that empathy to create a better developer experience in the documentation. • Ability to give and receive compassionate, helpful feedback to teammates both on and off your direct team. • Highly organized and have some experience prioritizing issues and projects. • Able to succeed in a remote, globally-distributed work environment. • Comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment. • Curious about new products and technologies and excited about sharing what you learn with our customers.
