Description

• Ensure complex financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported in compliance with accounting standards • Provide technical accounting guidance and assist in various technical accounting projects • Work cross-functionally with Finance and other internal groups • Responsible for compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements for internal controls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or equivalent certification required • 7+ years of accounting with a focus in technical accounting within a public accounting firm and a large corporate environment • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP covering variety of topics, including share-based compensation (ASC 718) • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret and apply accounting standards to complex real-world scenarios • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-financial stakeholders • Experience with internal controls including preparation of supporting information and coordination with external auditors • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting
