• Team Australia is looking for an energetic and innovative Product Owner to oversee all aspects of production related to our Australian Originals stories and accompanying resources within the wider Australian product. • Responsible for day-to-day production of their product area and implementing longer-term business strategy plans. • Focus on adding value and building it into sprint plans. • Leadership experience, working knowledge of the Australian Curriculum, and a passion for children’s books required. • Passionate about helping those who teach by providing high-quality resources that react to the requirements of Australian educators. • Experience, knowledge, and keen interest in children’s literature and understanding the Australian market. • Key role in sharing the Originals collection with children and educators across Australia.
• Undergraduate, Postgraduate or Masters degree in primary education or appropriate equivalent degree • A broad teaching experience, preferably across the primary years and in different schools. • Demonstrated passion and expertise in Literacy, Primary English or children’s literature • Strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize effectively • Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and external partners • Data-driven with the ability to use data to inform decisions • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work to KPIs, analyze performance, and drive improvements • Broad teaching experience in Australian primary schools with a focus on advising and supporting resource and product creation • Knowledge and experience of the Australian Curriculum • Understanding of target marketing • Experience and/or interest in developing a Product Owner mindset
