β€’ Coordinate day-to-day service and administrative requirements by effectively assessing customer concerns. β€’ Answer 75 to 100 calls per day. β€’ Attend to all questions and inquiries in a courteous and highly professional manner, providing exceptional customer service. β€’ Effectively service the business, including resolving agents' inquiries, complaints, and requests. β€’ Act as liaison with underwriting, billing, etc. β€’ Respond to inquiries by understanding the inquiry; reviewing previous inquiries and responses. β€’ Gather and research information, assemble and forward information, and verify the caller’s understanding of the information and answers. β€’ Record inquiries by documenting the inquiry and response in the policy accounts. β€’ Prepare for inquiries by studying products, services, and customer service processes. β€’ Enter and maintain policy requests received from agents and customers via telephone, fax, or email. β€’ Resolve inquiries quickly and effectively with strong customer service skills. β€’ Review, analyze, and complete endorsement submissions according to established underwriting guidelines. β€’ Handle cancellations/reinstatements and other miscellaneous policy changes. β€’ Improve quality service by recommending process changes and identifying new product and service applications.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ High school diploma plus minimum of one year experience as a Customer Service Representative, in the insurance industry. β€’ 220 license preferred. β€’ Proficient in Word, Excel, Windows-based applications and internet usage. β€’ Familiar with forms, procedures, regulations, coverage and business processes for assigned programs. β€’ Able to exercise good judgment and state opinions assertively. β€’ Able to write and speak clearly and concisely and explain the same ideas to people at many different levels, delivering messages in a positive manner. β€’ Able to perform work effectively in a highly intense environment and handle multiple tasks and demands simultaneously. β€’ Illustrate analytical skills to identify, gather and organize information. β€’ Able to work independently in a team environment. β€’ Able to perform accurate data entry.
