Description

β€’ Responds to customer inquiries related to utility bills, service orders, and emergency calls. β€’ Processes billing calls and investigates meter read issues. β€’ Handles emergency calls and customer move-ins, adds, and transfers. β€’ Processes refunds and changes to accounts. β€’ Makes referrals and processes requests for special programs such as Energy Assistance. β€’ Assists customers with credit/payment arrangements. β€’ Directs customers to appropriate self-service channels. β€’ Meets individual deadlines and metrics while working cooperatively in a group environment.

Requirements

β€’ High school diploma or equivalent. β€’ One (1) year of Customer service experience. β€’ Computer skills including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems. β€’ Must be able to type a minimum of 25 WPM (Word Per Minute). β€’ Solid written and verbal communication skills. β€’ For bilingual candidates: must take bilingual aptitude test (Spanish), must possess solid written skills in English and Spanish and must speak fluent English and Spanish. β€’ Must be 18 years of age or older. β€’ 2-3 Year(s) Call Center and/or Customer Service Experience preferred. β€’ 2-5 years previous customer service work from home experience preferred. β€’ Utility experience preferred. β€’ Advanced computer skills including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems preferred. β€’ Ability to type 60-65 WPM (Words Per Minute) preferred.
