• A fantastic opportunity to be one an on air Announcer/Writers for U&W. • Working as part of a team of announcer/writers on U&W channel and supporting our on demand service. • You will write and record continuity for the channel, bringing the channel tone of voice to life and enticing audience to content. • You will take media planning instructions and use listings, briefs, shows and other tx information to provide scripts and voiced wavs or recordings on site. These will be to channel tone of voice, editorially accurate, in tone editorially with content, compliant, to duration and tech spec.

Requirements

• Experience of voice work in a creative environment, such as continuity, radio or online audio. • Excellent writing and communication skills. • Demonstrable creative writing experience. • Good understanding of audio editing software. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft excel and office suite. • Quick to learn and comfortable with computer systems and data entry. • Ability to work to tight deadlines and stay calm under pressure. • Excellent attention to detail. • Willingness to receive constructive feedback and learn. • Experience of working to briefs to deliver tone of voice for a piece of work. This needs to be demonstrated with a show reel. • Writing scripts, demonstrable evidence of writing ability. Writing the scripts are as important as voicing them.
