• Product Manager - Data Sourcing & Extraction • Manage and coordinate UniCourt’s initiatives requiring court cases and related data to maintain UniCourt’s differentiation and competitiveness for being the largest provider of Federal and State litigation data. • Court and partner liaising: UniCourt frequently interacts with court officers, court CIOs and clerks to ensure we are using Court System’s tools and capabilities effectively and efficiently. You will be responsible and be the point of contact for interactions with Court officials w.r.t managing UniCourt’s data needs and seeking out bulk data/data integrations. • Data sourcing and extraction roadmap: You will build a thorough understanding of UniCourt’s business needs and of our clients needs to create a roadmap for court systems that need to be onboarded into UniCourt’s platform. You will research and analyze court portals, or other partner portals, to recommend optimal strategies for data acquisition, create and maintain internal knowledge banks and reports for data available in various courts so that it can be leveraged by other teams. • Engineering collaboration for product development: You will provide direction to UniCourt’s engineering teams on priority of their data extraction work, and collaborate with them closely so that they understand Court Data, are able to effectively ingest the data and help troubleshoot when engineering teams find issues w.r.t court data collection or court data understanding. • Customer Collaboration and advocacy: UniCourt’s clients have unique needs, and the data we provide has complex structures. You will be interacting with our customers and new prospects as a subject matter expert to understand their needs, and match them with UniCourt’s data offerings. You will also be using the feedback from Customers to help build your roadmap which will guide your roadmap. • Subject matter expert: You will use your subject matter expertise gained from your prior experience and in this role to be the go-to person for helping internal and external audiences understand the court systems, the data relationships and how various courts progress different forms of cases. • Competitive and partner analysis: UniCourt operates in a competitive environment. You will build a thorough understanding of our competitive and partners landscape to identify risks and threats posed by our competition, and identify areas of new opportunities with partnerships as it relates to data acquisition and availability. • Product and business stakeholder collaboration: UniCourt’s offers a range of interconnected products and services. UniCourt’s product team works in cohesion to ensure our products are built to solve customer needs, while solving for our business goals. You will be collaborating with the rest of the product management team and business partners to ensure our products continue to serve our customers and our mission. • Represent UniCourt: UniCourt frequently participates in business conferences or digital events. You may be asked to attend and represent UniCourt’s strategies at these events as a subject matter expert.
