• The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager in various financial and accounting tasks. • This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a commitment to accuracy. • The Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and update the general ledger by recording transactions, adjustments, and journal entries. • Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records. • Accounts Receivable: Follow up on overdue payments. Reconcile customer accounts regularly. • Data Entry and Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial data into accounting systems. Maintain organized and well-documented financial records. • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations. Stay informed about changes in accounting standards. • Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Professional certification (e.g., CPA or ACCA) is a plus. • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
