📋 Description

• Can you build Vanden in the US from the ground up? • Join the circular economy with Vanden. • You’ll be the face of Vanden in the US, taking ownership and building the business from the ground up. • You’ll build deep relationships with all possible suppliers, control material quality and close deals constantly. • You’ll be on the road visiting clients and conducting quality inspections of scrap plastic material 3-4 days a week. • You’ll be executing deals that secure diverse, stable supplies of scrap plastic commodities. • It is a sophisticated commodity trading role that requires a talented business development person who can collaborate internally and externally. • Must be willing to get hands on with product inspections. • We’re not looking for the ordinary, you’ll need to be an A-player with an optimistic persistent and entrepreneurial approach. • Utilizing your business development experience, cold calling and winning new clients through your own market research. • Using your market research and time management skills to thrive in a fast-moving environment, adapting to market conditions and prioritising clients and materials accordingly. • Growing into the role and contributing to Vanden’s mission. • Expanding your technical knowledge in and all-around plastic.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant commodity purchasing experience based ‘on the road’, exceeding financial targets, and a track record in developing a high volume of new business accounts ‘from scratch’. • A successful track record in buying commodities or products in a fast-changing market. • Experience in successfully managing existing accounts and hunting for new ones at the same time. • A can do entrepreneurial attitude with a high level of integrity. • A strong ability to negotiate with customers maximising margins and closing deals.
