β€’ Perform corporate income tax function for parent company and subsidiaries. β€’ Draft concise responses to tax notices. β€’ Prepare work papers, tax returns, and related work products. β€’ Comply with federal, state, and local requirements. β€’ Gathering and compiling financial information for completion of tax audits. β€’ Maintain a tax calendar. β€’ Communicate with external tax vendors and specialists. β€’ Work with internal business units and establish relationships. β€’ Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops. β€’ Assist with other tax matters as needed.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent business-related major required. β€’ Must have a minimum of five years of progressive tax experience including federal, state, and local compliance of corporations and partnerships. β€’ Experience with ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes required. β€’ Experience with a variety of tax returns and supporting forms and schedules required. β€’ Must have experience monitoring, researching, documenting, and applying changes in tax laws to the income tax process. β€’ Experience with tax research software preferred. β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. β€’ Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications. β€’ Intermediate to advanced level Excel experience required. β€’ Ability to balance multiple projects and work in fast-paced environment. β€’ Demonstrate excellent analytical and quantitative skills. β€’ Must be motivated and a self-starter.
