Description

• You will be part of the first engineering hires. • You will have the opportunity to help shape Renterra's engineering culture, process, technology and product! • Reporting directly to the CTO • Working daily on greenfield projects • Managing the full lifecycle of your work, including architecture, solution design, code, deployment, delivery and ongoing support • Communicating regularly with our fully remote team via Slack, Zoom and GitHub • Working from the idea of our initial tech stack across the frontend and backend.

Requirements

• 5 years experience as a Software Engineer working with systems in production • Experience designing and implementing systems from the ground up • Familiarity with serverless architectures (e.g. Next.js or AWS Lambda) • Expertise with REST API design and development • Deep understanding of healthy engineering processes (like code review and testing) • Excellent communication and technical leadership skills • Experience working in, or desire to work in, an early stage startup environment • Working knowledge of React, Next.js or Typescript applications in production • Experience working closely with a designer
