Description
• Vercel is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our accounting team. • Responsible for accounting activities related to cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intangibles. • Support the month-end close process by preparing and reviewing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and conducting flux analysis. • Assist is reconciling credit cards and other T&E related accounts. • Assist in responding to audit requests. Ensure that all accounting practices comply with internal controls and external regulations. • Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience. Previous experience in preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close tasks is preferred. • Skills: • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Certifications: CPA or working towards CPA designation is a plus.
