Description

• Provides team leadership as first point of contact with all suppliers by negotiating, reviewing, and managing contracts for procurement • Ensures all supplier contracts meet legal and regulatory requirements and align with company policies • Manages all production planning, inventory control, purchasing and cost management activities • Develops data-management systems that aligns with functional areas and team responsibilities • Creates and optimizes purchasing strategies to align with corporate objectives • Determine current and future business needs and translate these into global requirements. • Extensive experience in all aspects of vendor management, regarding pricing & product costing, metrics, delivery performance and quality management. • Develops and manages programs to optimize raw materials flow and inventory turns. • Regarded as an industry expert pertaining to ERP skills, understanding and training to best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of procurement, strategic purchasing, and sourcing with global experience • 5+ years with a degree and certification in related field. • Strong interpersonal skills, Leadership qualities, project management, team building, managing remote teams. • Deep understanding of ERP management systems; Oracle, SAP, Great Plains, Service Now preferred. • Demonstrated experience in supplier performance management practices and cost management. • Proven experience conducting cost-benefit analysis, master service agreements and managing contract manufacturers. • Demonstrated team and project leadership. • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
