Description

• For growing businesses that need to accomplish more with less, Versapay’s Accounts Receivable Efficiency Suite simplifies the invoice-to-cash process by automating invoicing, facilitating B2B payments, and streamlining cash application with AI. • Versapay integrates natively with top ERPs, while allowing businesses to collect with a self-serve payment portal and collaborate with customers and teammates to resolve what automation alone can’t. • Owned by Great Hill Partners, Versapay’s employee base spans the U.S. and Canada with offices in Atlanta and Miami. • With 10,000 customers and 5M+ companies transacting, Versapay facilitates 110M+ transactions and $170B+ in payments volume annually. • You will help lead our Payments team in strategic planning and ensure that our gateway software is architected well and bug free! • You’ll have to love coding too because you will be hands-on with new projects and maintenance. • This is an excellent opportunity for someone who’s been around payments for a while with management experience and still loves to code. • You will gain a ton more payments experience by working on our PayFac excelling you to the next level. • Reporting to one of the VPs of Engineering, you will mentor developers during 1-1s, lead team discussions, and share your experience to ensure we are moving in the right direction. • You will collaborate closely with our Product team to ensure company goals are met.

Requirements

• You’ve got a background in computer science, engineering, and/or mathematics with 5+ years of experience in software engineering (C#) under your belt. • You are comfortable working with .NET framework 4.8 and .NET core. • Knowledge and/or experience in MVC is a plus. • Experience in payments (especially integrating processors like FIS, Fiserv, and Adyen), and merchant account processing on the acquiring side is a very strong plus. • You've got strong knowledge of integrating external APIs (building them is even better!). • Solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices. • Strong knowledge of relational database systems (SQL Server + Stored Procedures), Object Oriented Programming, and web application development (CSS/JS/HTML). • Experience managing engineering teams. • Experience running meetings and tracking progress on projects. • Ability to communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to senior management and other relevant stakeholders. • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen. • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques. • You don’t shy away from detective work and problem solving (even when the answer isn’t obvious); finding solutions to problems excites you and you’re comfortable with the unknown and ambiguous. • You’re analytical and able to look at situations from multiple vantage points to make data-driven decisions and solve real problems. • You’re able to deliver communications that are clear, concise, and effective, both written and verbal to get your ideas across and get buy-in if needed. • You have experience with Jira and are able to breakdown an epic or story into workable items. • You are familiar with and practice the OWASP top ten and security best practices. • Experience with Postman and Datadog is a plus. • Experience with git version control system and GitHub actions. • To show your attention to detail, please provide a cover letter with a 3 sentence summary explaining why you are interested in Versapay!
