📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • Internship Title : Business Development Manager. • Location : Remote - Near Major Military Base. • Host Company : Genesis Codes Inc. ( www.genesis-codes.com ). • SkillBridge Provider : Vets2PM. • Applicants must be active duty U.S. Military Members who qualify for the DoD SkillBridge Program. • To apply: Go to www.vets2pm.com/skillbridge and complete the SkillBridge Interest form. • Return to this posting and click 'Apply.' • The ideal candidate will have a technical background in Electrical or Computer Engineering. • Company Genesis Codes is a 4-year startup in Silicon Valley, CA. • We focus on moving data to the point of need fast, securely, and ultra-reliably by offering breakthrough software solutions using data coding, compression, and encryption algorithms. • Achieving 5-30x faster transfer speed, better resilience in poor network environments, better data reliability than leading cloud platforms at 40% storage space, and total data-centric protection for data in transit & at rest. • We have won multiple SBIR awards from US Air Force and are supported by one of the largest companies in the defense industry. • We are looking for 1-2 experienced veterans to join our business development team. • Responsibility: Working with senior team members to identify and research opportunities that come up in new and existing markets. • Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients. • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems. • Creating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients. • Running outbound campaigns (phone calls, emails, etc.) to create sales opportunities. • Managing virtual and in-person sales meetings. • Maintaining client activities in the customer relationship management system. • Developing and presenting proposals customized for each client’s specific business needs. • Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow up. • Developing rapport with key decision-makers. • Translating proposals into ready-to-sign contracts. • Owning the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong technology background with B.S. degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent. • Technical background. • Willing to learn (We will provide both technology and business training). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
