Description

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure • Perform network configuration, upgrades, patches, and maintenance • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues • Conduct network monitoring and analysis using various tools • Configure and manage firewall rules, VPNs, and security policies • Manage and optimize server load balancing, SSL offloading, and certificate management • Ensure high availability, redundancy, and failover capabilities • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field • 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco, F5, and Palo Alto products • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VPNs • Experience with network security practices, including firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention, and encryption • Proficiency with network monitoring and analysis tools such as NetScout, WireShark, and Splunk • Experience with VA or federal organizations is a plus • Familiarity with Data Migration and Syndication within the VA preferred • Ability to travel as needed and obtain a government clearance
