Description

• Manage software products and middleware platforms for Veteran Affairs • Develop and maintain IRIS systems • Enhance VistA Extraction processes and lead the development team • Troubleshoot IRIS issues and support high availability databases • Optimize solutions for performance and cross-browser compatibility using ReactJS • Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 5+ years of experience in Cache/InterSystems HealthShare UCR, IRIS, ObjectScript, XSLT, or MUMPS • Proficiency in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend technologies (Java, Python, Spring Boot) • Experience with integration protocols (TCPIP/MLLP, REST, SOAP), CCDA, HL7, JSON, XML • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation testing • Leadership experience in development teams and working with solution architects • Strong understanding of web security, performance optimization, and agile methodologies • Experience in SAFe/Agile Software Development • Certifications in InterSystems IRIS, HL7, or AWS Cloud Practitioner • Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs or healthcare organizations • Ability to obtain a government clearance
