Description

• Managing a team of accountants and bookkeepers • Reviewing business and individual tax returns, financial statements, and related working papers • Preparing the firm’s more complex tax returns • Researching topics new to you to self-teach accurate related tax form preparation • Occasionally supporting your Client Manager with client software selection

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required, with preferred major in Accounting or a related field • 5-10+ years of recent tax preparation experience in public accounting required • 3-5+ years of recent experience reviewing tax returns required • CPA or EA license (or eligibility and active desire to pursue either) preferred • Proficiency in reviewing and finalizing federal S and C Corp, Partnership, and Individual tax returns • Detailed technical tax knowledge, including: Shareholder, AAA, and partner basis rules • Proficiency navigating Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and general Quickbooks Online functionality required
