📋 Description
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department • Advise business partners on a broad range of employee matters • Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements • Work with the HR team with respect to policy updates • Stay up to date in employment related laws/new regulations • Work collaboratively with HR Team and other business leaders • Review contracts, conduct employment related research, provide legal advice
🎯 Requirements
• J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school • Admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York, or Connecticut • 3-5 years’ experience in a law firm • In-house legal experience in a health system/management organization preferred • Proficient in MS Word • Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint • Experience with Contracts Management System preferred (MediTract, iContracts, ContractPodAI, etc.) • Excellent judgment and discretion • Strong research and analysis skills with excellent attention to detail • Familiarity with Lexis or Westlaw • Superior written and oral communication skills • Ability to prioritize heavy workload and multitask
