Description

• Take a technical leadership role on features and team roadmaps. • Large group communications and presentations. • Work with the architecture team to develop maintainable, effective, and efficient solutions. • Help to onboard and mentor other engineers on the team. • Maintain a high level of productivity while making significant contributions to infrastructure, CI/CD, and internal tooling initiatives. • Participate in a rigorous code review process, including giving and receiving critical feedback. • Work directly with internal engineering teams to understand gaps in our shared infrastructure and tooling. • Write well-designed, well-tested code. • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. engineering, computer science, etc.), or Bachelor's degree in any field and 7+ years of professional experience working as a Software Engineer. • 6-12+ years of relevant work experience in cloud infrastructure and/or dev ops • Excellent knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS preferred) • Experience with infrastructure-as-code platforms • Experience with the building and maintenance of CI/CD platforms • Experience in at least two of the following is preferred, but not required: Go, Scala/Java, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript • Experience with a formal code review process is a plus • Experience in technical/team leadership preferred
