Description

• Assist with the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals. • Review and analyze financial data to identify variances and trends. • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. • Maintain and follow internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial transactions. • Assist with pulling support for external audits, providing documentation and explanations as required. • Assist with preparation and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Chartered Accountant certification preferred. • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accountant role. • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles. • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity. • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
