Description

• Provide genetic telecounseling services to patients for the genetic tests offered by Igenomix • Serve as an internal expert and resource for the Igenomix laboratory • Provide support and expertise to referring physicians and other clinical staff • Participate in regular team meetings with other genetic counselors • Assist in the development of internal protocols to provide the best care to patients

Requirements

• Empathy, patience, and respect for patients and their situations • Superior writing ability, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills • Willingness to change and adapt to the evolving needs of a quickly growing company • Ability to communicate effectively with both health care providers and with patients • Ability to work independently and efficiently, while also understanding the need to work and collaborate as part of the Igenomix team • Ease and comfort working with a variety of technical platforms
