Description
• Perform manual testing of backend systems, mobile and web applications to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues. • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications. • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure product quality. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand software requirements and contribute to the improvement of software quality. • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems, and work with the development team to resolve issues. • Analyze test results, provide detailed reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to software testing and quality assurance. • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.
Requirements
• 5+ years of proven experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on manual testing. • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices. • Proficiency in backend testing, including API testing, database testing, and server-side validation. • Experience in testing mobile applications (Android and/or iOS) across multiple devices and platforms. • Experience in cross-platform and cross-browser testing of web applications and utilizing testing tools. • Proficient in conducting thorough analyses of functionality and adept at precisely identifying and resolving issues. • Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management tools. • Ability to understand software requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus. • Will be an advantage: Knowledge and experience in testing gRPC.
