• Own the AR and AP processes within Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) environment, including invoice/vendor posting, payments and GL reconciliation. • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts as required, including related working papers. • Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes. • Support internal and external audits. • Prepare financial reports and analyses as required. • Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, company accounting policies, and internal controls. • Review, analyze, and manage company contracts and agreements. • Ensure all contracts are accurately recorded and maintained. • Monitor contract compliance and performance, addressing any discrepancies or issues. • Coordinate with legal, management, and other departments to review and manage contract terms and conditions. • Support business operations functions across multiple departments. • Effectively liaise and communicate with different stakeholders to help achieve corporate performance metrics and goals. • Leverage new technologies and ideas to continuously improve process flows.
• A college degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience and certifications. • Minimum of 3 years of AR and AP experience, with a focus on general accounting and contract management. • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) AR and AP modules a plus, including general ledger reconciliations. • Good understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel intermediary functions • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
