• Sr. Battery Engineer is a customer-facing battery expert. • Work cross-functionally across the entire Voltaiq team. • Decipher and articulate the requirements of the customer's battery engineers. • Customize the Voltaiq product for customers. • Focus on resolving complex technical challenges. • Provide in-depth training, onboarding, and technical support to customers. • Attend calls and on-site meetings to support, troubleshoot, and grow customer usage. • Stay on top of trends in the battery industry. • Generate conference content and present at conferences. • Own technical projects related to high impact goals for Voltaiq.
• PhD in STEM field with battery specific research or STEM B.S. with 3+ years experience in the field. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in external customer-facing environments and to audiences of varying technical backgrounds. • Superior troubleshooting capability. • Battery testing/engineering industry knowledge. • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple incoming requests and drive initiatives to their successful completion. • Desire and ability to thrive in a loosely structured, high-demand startup environment. • Python coding experience and desire to work with software engineering teams. • Authorization to work in the U.S. • Native speaker ability or high business fluency in one of the following languages is a plus: German, French, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese.
