Description

• About Vouch: Modern insurance provider for high-growth companies • Work environment: Remote, collaboration hours • Job role: Senior Analytics Engineer responsible for data quality and modeling • You will architect, build and optimize robust data models • Communicate with business stakeholders for data asset design • Partner with upstream teams for data model development • Document specs and data models • Set up tests for data quality assurance • Perform root cause analysis for data quality issues • Maintain consistent data modeling standards • Provide and receive constructive feedback through code reviews • Work with dbt, SQL, Snowflake, git, Airflow, Python, and more

Requirements

• 5+ years experience developing ETL/ELT workflows as a data analytics engineer, data engineer, or data analyst • Advanced experience in SQL, dbt, Snowflake, and git • Intermediate experience building business reporting processes • Intermediate experience leveraging data pipeline services and orchestration tools • Excited to learn about Vouch’s business models • Energized by business impact & a self-starter • Advanced communication skills • Thrive in cross-functional projects • Basic experience with business intelligence tools • Basic experience in Python, Airflow, Stitch • (BONUS) Familiarity with insurance or financial services data modeling • (BONUS) Exposure to and passion for early-stage startups
