• About Vouch: Insurance is broken, failing fast-moving, innovative startups. • Vouch is a technology-first insurance company backed with $185M in funding. • We're building new technology to solve real problems in the insurance industry. • Role Responsibilities: Build foundational data structure, tools, and models to drive data-driven decisions. • Collaborate with teams to maintain foundational data sets, dashboards, and frameworks.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience working as a data analyst, data scientist, consultant, or equivalent quantitative analytical role • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in statistics, math, economics, computer science, finance, or equivalent practical experience • Advanced SQL skills, experience with BI tools (Mode, Tableau, Looker), and familiarity with data transformation tools (dbt) • Excited to dig into business processes to understand how data is generated • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business drivers • Skilled in gathering business requirements, define metrics, analyze problems, and propose solutions • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences • Proven collaborator, effective in cross-functional teams and multi-stakeholder environments • Eager to learn new tools and improve technical skill set • Grit: Initiative, goal-oriented, purpose-driven, and can work through adversity • 1+ years of professional experience with Python or R
