📋 Description

• We’re seeking a full-time director to lead our User Experience organization. • You will be responsible for working closely with internal teams across the organization to tackle UX challenges big and small. • The manager/director manages a team of designers and frontend developers to create best of breed cybersecurity products. • WatchGuard is known for creating security products that are simple to use, easy to understand and extremely secure and the UX organization plays a key role in this. • The talented team is located in multiple countries and works remotely.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of user experience design and management experience • Experience designing enterprise-level websites, desktop software and cloud applications • 5+ years of experience using Figma. HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a bonus • Ability to work with teams to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet their needs and vision • Experience compiling and providing final specifications and assets to development team • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of responsive design • A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns • A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design • Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval • Be excited to mentor and grow a team, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them • Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design
