• We’re making Africa the first cashless continent. • We launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. • We are seeking an experienced Compliance Project Manager to accelerate implementation of compliance related initiatives throughout Wave. • This role will be essential in ensuring preparedness for external audits and regulatory exams, and driving internal project management to ensure that corrective actions and remediation are implemented efficiently throughout the company.
Requirements
• Professional level proficiency in written and spoken French and English. • 5+ years experience in compliance, audit, or project management within fintech or financial services, with a focus on mobile money or payments. • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks. • Proven experience leading audits, exams, or regulatory inquiries, with hands-on experience in project management. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders. • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail. • Prior experience in a fintech or fast-growing tech environment is highly preferred.
