📋 Description

• Waymark is a team of healthcare providers, technologists, and builders whose mission is to bring the best healthcare to people with Medicaid benefits. • As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will be a key contributor to delivering intuitive, high-performance healthcare applications. • You will independently lead projects and deliver high-impact results that directly affect our users' experience. • You will own end-to-end solutions for user-facing applications, ensuring they are technically sound and intuitive. • Over the next 18 months, you will shape our front-end architecture and drive improvements in user experience.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with expertise in modern frameworks like React. • Demonstrable proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design. • Strong experience with API integrations and complex state management across multiple views. • Proven track record of working with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work USA Eastern Time hours. • Experience with design systems and component libraries (e.g., Storybook, Chakra UI, MUI) preferred. • Expertise in front-end performance optimization techniques preferred. • Exposure to backend technologies for full-stack collaboration preferred. • Early-stage startup experience or proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments preferred. • Background in healthcare or mission-driven organizations preferred.
