📋 Description

• Location: Remote - BC • Status: Temporary - 2 Month Contract • As a Marketing Assistant, you’ll be responsible for providing entry-level marketing support to WCG's employment services programs and internal staff. • With guidance, you will assist with a wide range of marketing activities and have exposure to stakeholders across the organization. • Responsible for administrative work contributing to the efficiency of the Marketing and Communications department, including meetings, writing and public relations events – and other tasks as requested • Create and print marketing materials including brochures, flat sheets, rack cards, PowerPoint Presentations and business cards complying with brand standards, maintaining inventory of marketing materials • Ensure marketing materials comply with WCG and Ministry branding and graphic standards

🎯 Requirements

• Similar experience and/or exposure to a Marketing position through past work • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Ability or willingness to learn to edit materials using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proofreading experience • Strong initiative, drive and willingness to learn • Ability to multitask across multiple projects and prioritise competing deadlines, and seek help when required • Excellent organizational and task management skills • Attention to detail is essential • Positive, supportive team attitude • Good level of internal and external stakeholder communication experience • Bilingual (French) not essential but considered an asset • Interest in the employment services sector
