• Supporting the business with identifying opportunities and making intelligent, data-driven decisions. • Providing business reports that enable a timely analysis of the financial performance and understanding of the business drivers. • Responding to ad-hoc requests by writing queries, cleaning and analyzing data, and verifying business hypotheses. • Support other departments in pursuing their data strategy (translating business logic into tidy and reusable data sources). • Working with the Data Engineers team to ensure the data quality, completeness, and stable data processing pipelines. • Work with business stakeholders to define data requirements and model datasets in a scalable, reusable way. • Collaborate with other teams (e.g., Software Engineers, DevOps) to maintain high data quality, completeness, and reliable data processing pipelines. • Connect to various data sources (Salesforce, RabbitMQ, Kafka, REST APIs, SQL databases) and handle synchronization/ingestion at scale. • Monitor pipeline performance, optimize SQL queries in Redshift, and implement best practices for data validation and testing (e.g., Great Expectations).
• Business analysis - proficient in a structured approach to problem-solving, critical thinking, attention to detail and identifying the most impactful solutions. • Agile project management, communication with C-level executives. • Experience with designing and developing ETL pipelines in Python. • BI tools - a proven track record of building and maintaining business-critical reports (like Tableau, Superset). • SQL - working experience with complex queries (any distribution, we use AWS Redshift). • Data modeling - designing reusable data structures, extracting, cleaning, and wrangling data. • Soft skills - great listener, being a likable, competent person, openly sharing your expertise, and mentoring more junior colleagues. • English - good command, both written and spoken. • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, unit testing (Pytest or similar), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Basic knowledge of AI/ML techniques, supporting our journey toward automation. • Understanding of performance frameworks, goal tracking, and metrics alignment (e.g., OKRs, KPIs) to ensure data solutions directly support key business objectives. • Git (or other version systems) - as we believe in predictable collaboration and scalable workflows. • Profiles on Github and Tableau Public, data-related blog - as we love working with self-driven people contributing to the data communities and learning in public. • Previous experience in the eCommerce sector - as you will have a better insight on improving our customers' understanding and seeking the most impactful ways of solving their problems.
