📋 Description

• At Weights & Biases, our mission is to build the best tools for AI developers. • We founded our company on the insight that while there were excellent tools for developers to build better code, there were no similarly great tools to help ML practitioners build better models. • We have expanded our solution into a comprehensive AI developer platform for organizations focused on building their own deep learning models and generative AI applications. • Weights & Biases is a Series C company with $250M in funding and over 200 employees. • We proudly serve over 1,000 customers and more than 30 foundation model builders including customers such as OpenAI, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Toyota. • Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior GL Accountant will be responsible for maintaining general accounting practices and policies, developing and monitoring internal controls, helping develop efficient and scalable processes, and managing day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close. • This candidate will specifically work on commissions accounting, International accounting and other GL related accounts with tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including financial reporting, and year-end audit coordination. • The successful candidate will report to and work closely with the Accounting Manager and play an instrumental role in the financial future of the company.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred • 5+ years in GL Accounting • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (U.S. GAAP) • Strong research and analytical ability, with the capability to effectively evaluate and implement solutions to accounting problems • Proven ability to effectively plan, organize and complete multiple complex activities, priorities, and assignments on a timely basis • Eagerness to work in a dynamic, high-growth, and fast-paced environment • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across the organization • Results-driven and detail-oriented, willingness to accept accountability and ownership over your work • Excellent organization and documentation skills • Last but certainly not least, you need to be ready to roll up your sleeves and do whatever needs to be done, because, despite our early successes, this is still a start-up • Ability to work a minimum of four hours of overlap with PST (9am-1pm PST)
