Description

• Provides technical support for software products that run on the z/OS operating systems • Provides complex software configuration, patching, upgrading, and troubleshooting • Uses diagnostic tools to analyze complex system software problems • Develops documentation for software requirements and operational procedures • Determines security access requirements for software products • Performs all compliance procedures associated with software assets • Contributes to analysis of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements • Drives solutions to reduce Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR), enable High Availability and Disaster Recovery • Champions and supports team members by reducing churn and waste, removing blockers

Requirements

• 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience • 4+ years of z/OS experience • 4+ years of TSO (Time Sharing Options) experience • 4+ years of experience with zSeries mainframe operating systems and storage systems • 4+ years of JCL (Job Control Language) experience • 4+ years REXX programming • 4+ years Assembler programming • 4+ years SMP/E experience • 4+ years supporting IBM, Broadcom, BMC or other mainframe vendor software products • 3+ years z/OS UNIX System Services
