We are at the heart of the green hydrogen revolution enabling production of next generation fuel cells with our ultra fast laser drilling and welding technologies. β€’ Our technology is capable of producing highly complex micro parts to micron level accuracies, creating a revolution in personalised drug delivery and medical care. β€’ Our equipment is capable of producing highly complex semiconductor parts, enabling next level efficiencies in electronics manufacturing. β€’ JOIN US as a Service Engineer and we can offer you an opportunity to work in a high-tech, specialist company working with some of the best global names in aerospace, medical, semiconductor and clean energy. β€’ Due to an excellent period of growth, this is a newly created role reflecting a need to increase headcount in-line with demand. β€’ Responsibilities: β€’ Maintenance, servicing and commissioning of EDM and laser machine tools. β€’ Preventive and reactive maintenance at customer sites. β€’ Maintenance of equipment within it's manufacturing facility. β€’ Providing installation and commissioning support for new systems and technical upgrade packages. β€’ Providing technical support and training internally and externally. β€’ Higher level technical and software support for the team in the field. β€’ Software updates and assistance with retrofitting designs

Requirements

β€’ The successful candidate will have excellent all-round skills in electrical/electronic maintenance disciplines. The required level of competence and experience cannot be attained without recognised, time-served type training. β€’ Must have good experience of working with machine tool software/control systems ideally in a Beckhoff or Delta Tau environment β€’ Must have experience working with PLCs in a machine tool or similar environment β€’ Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout North America
