• Woodard & Curran is a national engineering, science, and operations firm with a simple vision for clean water, a safe environment, healthy communities, and happy people. • We seek talented individuals from all backgrounds to help us address a broad range of water and environmental issues. • We are looking for a Project Accountant 1 who will be responsible for setting up and billing projects for a segment of the consulting business at Woodard & Curran (W&C). • Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in effectively in a team setting with a diverse group of people. • Location: We would like this person to be virtual or in person at any of our offices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 1-2 years of relevant experience; or 3-4 years of relevant experience. • Understand project revenue, profitability and its impacts on project performance and be able to discuss the process with PMs. • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Proficient in Deltek Vision, EleVia, or similar project accounting software preferred. • Basic knowledge of project accounting concepts and practices preferred. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet required deadlines. • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Ability to think critically and problem solve.
