📋 Description

• The analyst supports UMA’s internal corporate development team and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) efforts through all transaction phases, including M&A strategy, pipeline development, target screening, valuation, due diligence, and integration planning. • Execute processes and tasks related to M&A initiatives, including conducting research and analysis on target companies, tracking pipeline activity, coordinating due diligence workstreams, and providing deal support. • Create and maintain financial models for acquisitions, and develop presentations to summarize and communicate analysis and findings. • Manage timelines, dependencies and deliverable development for key M&A and strategic projects. • Develop relationships and manage communications with external advisors and consultants. • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to evaluate organizational needs, analyze data, and provide recommendations. • Perform other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, finance, economics, or related area of study, or equivalent experience. • 2+ years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, corporate finance, strategy, business management, consulting, or related field. • Skills – excel, financial modeling, presentation skills, and influence. • Ability to professionally communicate fluently in verbal and written English. • Ability to support a diverse and inclusive work environment. • Computer literacy/basic computer skills to effectively navigate and utilize the technology required for the role.
