Description

• Design systems for rapid ML development and high availability • Develop APIs for Workiva’s ML solutions • Deliver and maintain machine learning infrastructure • Mentor less experienced ML engineers • Write automated tests for ML solutions • Debug and troubleshoot components across services • Engage with support teams to resolve production issues • Participate in on-call rotations for support of Workiva’s SaaS environments • Perform code reviews with team and external stakeholders • Collaborate to deliver complete software products

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience • Preferred 4+ years of ML engineering or related experience • Proficiency in ML development cycle and toolsets • Experience with model deployment, data pipelines, CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with Generative AI • Proficient in Python, GO, Java or similar languages • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (preferred), and cloud services (AWS or equivalent) • Strong programming foundation and experience in Agile/Sprint environments • Knowledge of HTTP/web protocols, databases, performance tuning, and production-level testing • Excellent communication and organizational skills
